Below are a couple of pictures taken during the summer of '08. Shown are John & Marsha Brestle and their horse Whiskey. Whiskey came to Drafty Acres as a rescue with ties to the Humane Society in 2007. Although this case never went to court, it was decided to be in the best interest of the horse (by all involved) that he come to us for a chance at life. After much rehabilitation with us, John and Marsha purchased him and have given him a forever home. Although Whiskey was well on his way to being healthy, John & Marsha had a long way to go with him. They have done a fantastic job! Whiskey quickly became John's pride and joy! The Brestle's purchased 2 other horses from us while visiting regularly to ride with us. We have become extended family for one another and have made and shared many memories over the years. They now haul their horses to our stable just to visit and ride along on the trails!
